Holy Hot Sauce, Batman!

I have not updated in a while. My bad... But the goal is to get a post up every month. If I don't please spam me.

Last time I posted I was starting the fall semester of my Junior year at Memphis College of Art.

It was definitely an art filled semester. I was in The Hope House's Annual Art for Hope fundraiser and Memfix. Both events were fun experiences even though I was dead tired after the end of each one. They were totally worth it.

Oh also because of those events I forced myself to make spiffy business cards which if you want one I would gladly mail you one!

I also ended up spraining my left wrist which coincidentally is my drawing hand so I learned how to be decently ambidextrous as well. The pieces below I mostly had to do while my wrist was messed up.

( I don't see how people are right handed.)

Until later guys, bye!

She's just flying upward with some angels, not a problem.

A fun master copy of Eve by Soloman Joseph Soloman
I actually finished this July 19th which just shows how slow I am at updating but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Also naked people.

Wow, I really need to scan this in. Consider this a sneak peek!
The lovely field reference was taken by my dearest friend, Amy.

Postage dump

Hey guys, you remember when I said that there would be a huge on slot of pictures...here's the explosion.
Here is a small collection of sketches and paintings that I made over the past school year and summer. Along with a few from my watercolor sketchbook.

Messing around with water down gouache.

Armor study

For every portrait there needs to be a minimum of 3 explosions.

It's only vaguely inspired by The Hunger Games. It's actually a King Fisher instead of a mockingjay.

I've started diggin' these surreal kind of portraits.

Watercolor Woooo... This was painted on the edge of the middle of some weeds that ended up being very pretty.

I can't give you 3 chickens, that's just unfair.

Christmas fairytales

Honestly, I didn't get much done at all this break, I feel sort of bad about it but everyone says that's it's good to take a break.

This was the first thing I painted during the break. This and the one below was painted with black, Phthalo. blue, white and silver.

Inspired by David Hockey's "Woldgate Woods"
This was inspired by Joshua Suda, and a good reason to do a portrait with something a bit different. And of course I have to choose a picture where I had to make up the jawline but oh well. I still like it.

Bunnies. Everywhere.

This will probably be the last post that I make before school starts. So we'll see how well I keep up with this blog. I'm not sure if I'll post my school projects on here; probably not.

A to-do list with flowers all around. How girly.
Ok so, a random midnight thought involved French bunnies rebelling against Australia and the propaganda posters that result from it.

Just messing around with some red bases.

Massive overload

Since I procrastinate about taking pictures, you get a collection of everything in one post. You're one lucky ducky, aren't you ?:D

A collection of distorted self portraits.

Oh yeah, stripes all in this book.
A gift to Amy of a Roman.
So I love playing with color. Can't you tell?
Strange studies but I had fun with them.
A DEER! OH DEAR! Along with a self argument.
A lovely cove with a bonus doctor sketch.
I like playing with color A LOT. I also have a love/hate relationship with that girl... specifically her lip. I had to paint over them at least 20 times and they're still not right.

That's it for now. You would think that I would post more stuff but some of this is staying hidden forever from viewers ( they're just bad...). I'm off to paint/look at art, farewell!
